Woman defends her kids and self with gun

This lady was hiding in her closet while an intruder broke into her house and eventually found her and her kids. Guess what she did, *gasp* shot him in the fucking face with a GUN.
He fell on the ground, cried a bit, then drove away. The cops finally arrived to find he crashed his car.

Kind of amazing that she hit him five times and he was able to drive his car away from the scene of the crime.

I don't get cable/satellite. Did any network besides Fox report on this?

just saying. that she fended off an intruder is the exception, with the norm being a family member or loved one being shot instead.

i'm not drawing any conclusion, just stating facts.

i'm not sure how you confused recitation of facts with being upset. if anything, my recitation of facts seems to have made you upset.

Buck, what would you do without a firearm if someone broke into your home, and you had no options but to hide in the closet while a psycho stormed through your home with unknown intentions? You gonna hide in the closet wondering if the intruder is armed, etc. What if the intruder has a firearm, gonna raise your hands and hope to big bang that he doesn't pump you full of led right before he bangs your wife? What if the intruder is in every way physically superior to you? How you gonna even the score and protect your loved ones?

I guess lets hope you have your phone in your pocket and that the police are less than 30 seconds away, assuming your hiding spot is even going to work for that long.

I'd tend to believe this. However, it's likely that the people killing their family members with guns would use a different method if the gun wasn't present.

I would also add that it's statistically more likely for a MSM report about family members killing each other with guns to see the light of day, than a story like this.

lots of emotional appeal, no disproof.

i have a very sharp axe which i can throw very accurately from a decent distance that would suffice for just about any self defense need.
