when you plant a germed seed so you put seran wrap around the top?
cause i do
and i am wondering how long you guys keep the seran wrap on after it sprouts. cause i know seedling like moister but i feel like the little water drops can cause the light to intesify and burn the plant. or are they to small to matter?

i just soak in water and then drop in soil...

don't wrap it they need to breath. just mist top of soil until they sprout, mist around sprout after it's above ground if worried about burning.

Wrapping is common. It's just creating a humidity dome. You want to remove it when the seedlings emerge from the soil so they don't grow into it. You could also pick up a humidity dome at a garden center. They only cost a couple bucks, and some have vents that open/close.

i do it in a papertowel and then plant it and mist the top of the soil to it pop out and then take it from there but a humidity dome is good to start

I think 30% relative humidity is too low for my seedlings. I use a coir based soil-less mix, and it would dry out too quickly with humidity that low. Thus, I use the humidity dome. After a week or two, seedlings can be kept in lower humidity.

Most of the research I've read says that plants' stomata are optimally open at 50% relative humidity (give or take). However, there is plenty of evidence of people having great success with lower humidity like darkdestruction420 mentioned.

Do some experimenting. See what works best for you.

Good luck

ive always gone 4 a really high humidity at 65-75% in a propogator till sprouted then slowly dropped humidity down to 40% when starting flower, once read this when i started and honestly had 100% germ rate from over 100 attempts, but as stoobie says, experiment, theres no wrong way

The best way to germ a bean is to drop it in distilled water for 12-16 hours, then put in a wet paper towel...

Seriously Fella's,ya want the seedling to develop roots.Foliar watering/feeding takes the need to develop roots away from the seedling. They need to go into the medium hit the lights and let em thrive.
