You wish you could make a lampshade on a woodworking lathe? I mean its a pretty cool thing to make, yeah.. But if you really wish you would be making them by now. (IMO the manufacture process was extremely wasteful in terms of wood and energy spent carving) I have worked wood on a lathe before by the way. Working on the lathe is really as easy as it looks, specially if your wood is cured for years on end like this guy`s... FYI woodworking lathes aren`t all that expensive :)
