Wiring info?

Would someone plz post the link to where I can find basic wiring info? I don't think I did it properly... my wires are a mess I look at the wiring u all did and it is like 100x better that what I did and I don't want to create a fire...

I can't do anthing right I tried growing white widow in my tiny rubbermaid cabs and they kept vegging and vegging long after switching to 12/12... paid a lot of cash from some humboldt county bushmaster and other additives and it did &^%$ all turned out it was the strain switched to northern lights problem fixed! humboldt county is crap imo AVOID. What a waste of cash. I hope I serve as a warning to others avoid their useless crap. PPL please learn from my mistake i'm super disappointed in them.

Edit: Also, what is the correct *total* wattage of cfl lights? I've read different things one post says 120 w per plant another reads 40 w per square foot which is correct?

okay let me give u the easiest answers. for lighting spend 10 bucks and go to home depot and pick up the basic wiring manual. the easiest explanation is take a bathroom fixture, the kind that has severa bulbs that goes over the top of a mirror and take an extension cord (2 prong) cut the female end off. note which side the big prong would plug in and mark the wire. when you cut off the femle end the side that u marked will connect to the white(neutral) wire. the other wire wil connect to the black wire. be smart use wire nuts and then electrical tape. the thin metal ground can be grounded to the fixture. thats it put bulbs in and hang it where you need it. as for wattage i have always gone with lumens per square foot. i use hps now, but when i used cfl i used the big 42w ones. i went with 3000 lumens per sq foot. so if you are pushing a 2 x 3 area that is 6 sq. feet x 3000 for 18000 lumens. i think the 42s were 2700 lumens ea so u would need about 7 to hit your target. now i havent grown cfl since 04 so im sure some things have changed, but my method worked great for me. i dont know about humboldt county stuff but i stick by nirvana. sorry bout your luck but u have to make mistakes to learn so count as a lesson and keep growing.......good luck, if u need anything respond to this message or pm me.
