Wiring a 120v 12w PC fan for grow box HELP

I need to wire a 120v 12w pc fan for my pc grow box. It doesnt work with an Ipod cord so im thinking i need to wire it to the wall outlet itself but i dont want to ruin the fan.. what do i do?

Strip the 2 wires from a regular phone charger there should be red and black, strip the fan wires and they should be the same make sure you use a phone charger so it steps the 120V AC to 12V DC the 120V will catch it on fire. Use wire nuts amd match red to red black to black make sure it works and then electrical tape your connection so water doesnt go in. I have 3 PC fans for intake air, exhaust and and exhaust booster fan for the home made carbon filter I am using. Hope this helps eLinc420
