Winterizing question : how long to hold at 0 f

When winterizing how long does the solution have to remain at 0 degrees f ? Last time dry ice was used in a styrafoam cintainer to cool the jars overnight. Once at zero shouldn't everything be frozen and ready to be filtered?

It also takes some time for the reaction to happen. Our experiments suggest that after 48 hours, we got no further precipitation after 48 hours.

We have cooled to -70C in alcohol and dry ice and did a good job after about an hour.

Its minus 20C for 48 hrs and filtered 20 microns.

Held -20C or -4F 48hrs then cold filtered 0.2 microns under slight vacuum to filter out wax, something encountered when working under pressure, targeting temperature, resident time etc. Vapor pressure playing an important role, n- butane 16 psi, ISO-butane 31 psi, propane from bernomatic 190 psi, CO2 860 psi before supercritical temperture of 88F, and starts supercritical regions at 1073 psi. Wax isn't obtained at extractions that basically rinse readily available cannabinoids, but that dig in the plant matter really juicing it w high pressure and temperature. So most of you have nothing to worry about dewaxing the extract.

What is the glass thing in your pic called and do they make bigger ones? Im guessing it hooks up to a vac and pulls the solution through the filter?

Sinister funnel, fritted disc funnel, Buchner funnel, is way better than coffee filters, can filter activated charcoal, mold, leaving the solution brilliantly clear, just don't drop it!

How much can be cleaned at a time with that?

I guess my other question is how long does it take to completely empty that size filter and at what amount of vac? Thanks for taking time to help me out too

Depending how dirty the porus material gets clogged, it filters in a couple seconds. I had originally got this to extract hash in abundance w hot solvents. They make me bigger, but I knew it would work fast and clean up particulates crystal clear, but still would not remove a bulk from the extract in subcritical pressures since it's not typically creating a harsh enviornment like 100C and 10,000 psi or 680 bar. That's hard core shit that won't dewax as the cannabinoids are now smashed together w the waxy bulky yield that club owners intend not de waxing the final product because that's not how you get t he bomb. We know this for fact.
