i gave each plant about 1 cup of water this morning. just a splash to moisten the surface of the soil. it was sooooo dry and powdery. the plants were perkier than ever though. even before the splash of water.

i just bought 2 brand new lumateks 600w electronic ballasts. i have them on separate timers coming on a few minutes apart. i am hoping this is the end of all my problems. $195 each +tax. :)

those are the silver ones right, if so.... my buddy says he doesnt like the purple ones either....... He got the 2 silver ones now...... says they dont make any sound what so ever... or hardly..

hope your probs get solved... :weed:

i'm running two timers now. they come on about 8 mins apart. both of my new ballasts fired up just fine this evening.

they have shown with the digital 400 watt ballasts and the digital 600 watt ballasts that they are able to produce a considerable amount (30% i think on the 600 or maybe the equivalent of 30 more watts) more lumens. the 1000 watt however does not have the capacity to do this without blowing the bulbs.

as a result i have been told that the digital 600 watt hps is the most efficient grow lamp. it maximizes your lumen output to watt ratio.

fuck purple. it's starting to stink already. what's it been 16 days of 12/12? little nuggies everywhere. smells like purple.

i fed everything a full dose of bloom this morning. the ones that went 3 weeks with no water never did wilt though. the soil was so dry it was falling out the drain holes like sand. the fan was blowing dust off the surface of the soil. funny stuff. i have no idea what to think of all that. 20 something days with NO water. unheard of.

i have some discoloring of some of my leaves. it started weeks ago when i transplanted. i haven't watered since so i can't blame it on anything. i fed and watered today. maybe that will help. at this point i'm not worried about it. whatever it was was weeks ago. i'm seeing the after affects.

hey man whats up. someone told me it was suicide for the plants to grow em in a transparent cup. does light kill the roots? obviously not because your the master of the universe. hey if mass ever passes the med mj law please come work for me at my pharmacy where i plan on being the first one to jump into growing.j/k but if it ever happens someone like you would be exactly what id need. you grows are awsome, how long have you been at it.?
