Just a few thought about possibly growing a small harvest of bud outside in the winter. Not sure its too solid though haha.

So, the my idea is get or make around 16 to 17 of the 100 hour candles . Thats around equal to Lowryders life span. grab a few clear 20 inch high bins,(lowryders height) and bam, a possible heat box large enough to harvest the girl. Well, that my theory, i mean you could go as far as puting pipes between a few or something. Basically like a homemade green box. Thoughts?

I live in the hills in north east u.s.. It gets very cold here and I just built a grow shed and its been in the teens and the lights alone keep it to warm. I actually had to vent out my flower lights. This being said I'm using 1600 to flower and 600 to veg. I love your idea, good luck.

Thank you! it would be a little bit of investment.theres some things id have to tweak. New England is cold as hell man. Im thinking the sunlight seems a little dimmer during the winter but the lack of vegetation on everything else could let enough sun pass through.

We are not far away and yes it gets cold up here. I see, you plan on a little greenhouse with tubs. That will be tuff keeping warm, I'd be worried about the candle as you mentioned. Post an update somewhere when you figure out what your doing sounds interesting.

They will be under this tub 24/7? I don't see this working well. Days are too short for good vegging. Candles require an O2 supply to stay lit and your plants will need some air transfer to avoid humidity build up. Probably a waste of time in my opinion but hope you prove me wrong. Good luck. Never hurts to experiment.

you got a good point, lack of air. Albiet, yes this isnt going to land you pounders or anything, but i like projects :bigjoint:

Ive stuck one of my jalapenos in small test container this morning. now, im thinking, uncovering it once a day may be good enough to release a bit of humidity. maybe a small, small hole.

pic in a sec, maybe a supplemental solar light?
