Told my spouse about that last night and he is all in on making a batch. Saving money is one of the things that makes him smile from ear to ear.
Awwww. =(
We're polar opposites. I go into action ninja mode when attacked by stressful situations.

Side note, my house still smells awesome from the soap.

I've been doing piercings for a few years now. As long as there isn't alot of scar tissue which if it was done correctly there shouldn't be you will be fine to pierce the exact same spot. No reputable shop will do the second holes while ur passed out. I wouldn't. If its the sound that bothers u loud music is your best bet. I always have people take a deep breath and slowly exhale as I put the needle through and I've never had anybody pass out on me. Just find your happy place and deep breaths. You should be fine.

I cooked soap once from a pound of lamb tallow. Drove my college roommates to distraction. I didn't think it smelled all that bad.

WW, the sovereign solution to one of your problems is to arrive pre-passed-out. cn

I'll go medicated that's for sure.

Lamb tallow? You have to be kidding me.

True story! Lamb tallow. Even tried doing laundry with it once. My hands took two weeks to heal, but my jeans were years ahead of style. Shame about the towels. cn

I have pierced ears, one hole in each ear and had them for a long time. One hole has closed itself.

I like wearing earrings, but haven't for more than a year or so because I've been working regularly in my shop and then I just forgot about them.

Here's the issues: Can I get another piercing in the same place with no problem? Will I have problems with earrings hanging the same on both sides?

Here's the really big issue. I passed out when they pierced my ears the first time. It happened after the second ear was done. I'd like to add one more earring to each ear. If I pass out again will they still do the extra 2?

Any suggestions for getting through this without passing out? I think it was the sound of the tissue squishing that got to me.
I would try and open the closed hole over a couple days with an earring, like others have suggested. I've done this before and it does hurt and bleed a bit, but in my experience its usually pretty easy to get it open again. About a month ago i had my ears re-pierced with a piercing gun at the mall. I do think it hurt a little bit more due to the scar tissue, but i also got 4 piercings that day, 2 in each ear. I don't really recall any sounds, but the feeling of the earring sliding in is where the ick factor was for me. Just go in cool and calm, and don't psych urself out before you've even gone.

Good luck!!!

Getting my ear re-pierced with a needle after being told to put cotton in the holes while at school was one of the most painful experiences of my life... It was messy...

Having closed and re-stretched multiple times, the ear lobes are capable of amazing recovery keeping their structural integrity. Take it slow with scar tissue so you don't end up with a fissure rather than a hole. I say just consult the person you wanted to re-pierce it after they examine your individual lobe xxx
