Wine Cellar Grow?

Ok so I recently cleaned out an old back room which was a wine cellar. It is insulated room and has it's own AC unit in the wall which exhausts the heat from the unit into a joining room. It stays about a steady 67 in the room. Well their is plenty of room for my tent and i want to move my grow into this room im just stuck on a few ventilation problems. Their is a window but it's boarded up and insulated I could open this but would prefer not too.

Im not going to have a problem with heat but where should I get fresh air from?

I was going to run the exhaust from my tent up through the cieling inbetween the floors and seal that off. I'd rather not exhaust out the window.

Is the AC unit that's in the wall producing fresh air? or is it just cooling the air already in the room? Also humidity is a bitch since it's a wine cellar, so that will be another issue.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I am currently using a cellar type room. I believe it is a cold storage room. It is greaaaat for growing. The temps are easily controlled but i have a hard timer with humidity as well. I run a 55pint dehumidifier 24/7 I have a drain hose running into the floor drain so i don't have to empty it. It is great because in the winter i can keep cool temps that is key for good Purps. Good luck P.S you will need to put a vent of fan in the window to bring fresh air in.

Yea I was thinking the temps would be perfect and it's got a built in air conditioner for the added cool air when needed. So I figured Im gonna have to have the window open, I have a window fan in my other room now so I'll just move it. But what do you do about exhaust?

i actually use the window that is in my room to exhaust (after it goes through a air scrubber. I put a vent from the house to the grow room because i didn't want any air from the room pumping into the house but air from house to room is just fine by me. It has made scent a non issue in the house(the room is another story).

The only thing that wigs me out is I don't want to exhaust out a window incase their is a fly-over and using infared it'll look like a fountain being spewed out... So you just bring fresh air in from a conjoining room and push it out the window? Unfortunatly I think this may be my setup.

I planted a bush outside the window to disperse the "fountain" and also i used a typical dryer exhaust vent so any lookers will think it is my gas dryer (a little lint on the ground goes a long way). I am really cautious about lookers to but just remeber every house on the street that has a dryer has a heat fountain. Its not as uncommon as people make it out to be.

my dryer is on the other side of the house, so I'll have two. Im just stoned and paranoid. That window is next to the big AC unit outside and their are huge bushes surrounding it, You can't even see the window unless you climb in. Plus I don't have any other options so looks like thats gonna be it. Thanks for the input brother.

Hello, You answered your own question, if you exhaust it between the floors then you bring in the fresh air in from the window with the fan..

have you considered a sealed room w/ CO2 ?
as for worrying about flyovers, relax, unless they already have a warrent, they won't be bothered by the little heat coming from a tent. if you had 7-8 or more 1000 watt lights, then you might have reason to worry.

Your right I should relax considering Im runnin 1 400w lol. But I have thought about doing that but since theirs already a window their I might as well use that for intake and get free c02. With c02 I would still need to exhaust somewhere so I would be back to either out a window or through the cieling light in between floors (which will be trickier and I'll have a longer exhaust tube) Infact would it be benificial to run an inline fan from the tent, run tubbing for say 10' then put another inline fan on that end of the same size?

careful here, if you are just pumping air into the ceiling,it will need a place to excape or moisture will build up. you can use the window for either exhaust or intake & the adjoining room for the opposite as long as the adjoining room has a way to vent or draw in air as needed.
