Window sill Treatment

Hey Ya'll, I was having an overcrowding problem (Some problems are OK and gave a large veg girl for a friend to put in a well lighted window, the girl is doing well starting to flower. Another grower saw this and warned that the girl is not getting Complete darkness during the evening and suggested moving the girl to a closet at sunset and back at sunrise.

The worry never went thru my brain.

Question: There is some ambient light, should we be moving this girl to the closet?

Probably; she'll need around 12 hours of darkness to remain in flowering. If there is exposure to light during the dark period, or if you are in the northern hemisphere the nights are also getting shorter (first day of Spring today) - so you could run into issues.
