Wind Stress?

I was wondering if wind stress can harm a plant. I currently have a pc fan blowing on one plant and it is fine. I have a 24 watt fan that is currently on low blowing on the second. The first plant is fine but the one that is next to the 24 watt fan isnt. The plant is fine but there is a indentation in the side of the leaf where the fan is blowing. Should i turn off the fan or should i continue to do what i do.

osculating fans are preferred....direct wind isn't going to kill it but it's better to try to mimic wind as close as possible...
