Wind burn/salt build up/mag def?

So I moved this over to this thread since to hopefully get a better understanding of what’s going on. Had some great help from other people so the more info the better! So first time grower here as I'm sure it'll show but tried to do as much research as I could before I started. So I'll give a little info about my set up to hopefully give you a better idea on what's maybe going on. Currently seeing a little burnt corners on one plant and the one side have turn down leaves. From what Ive gathered it could be either nitrogen def or possibly wind burn and now maybe toxic salt built up I was leaning towards more the wind burn for the conners because they have been getting beat a little with the fan and have “the claw” and I wasn't aware until I saw it so I was going to move them up but now I have no idea. If I can think of anything else to add I'll add it but so far I'm loving it and the experience! All info/comments/concerns and what I could do better are welcomed!

5x9x6 tent
RDWC 8 site 5 gallon buckets with 35 gallon res
pH 5.6
Temp 80 during the day low 70s at night
RH is 32-37% during the day 40-50ish at night. Because the lights go off so light I'm not 100% on the night just what I see before I go to bed. Turns off at 10am and back on at 4am.
18/6
3x Timber Grow Lighs at halt power (215-216watts used a kill a watt to gauge)
2x Mars Hydro on veg
lights are at 36in away
8in inline fan ac infinity cloundline t8 set to pull out out when temps hit 80
2 temp/hydrometers one on the far side in the shade the other at plant level which is the one connected to the inline
water temp gets to 73 but no higher, drops at night to around 69-70.
Megacrop (first and only feed was march 10th at 144grams)
Hydroguard (because of water temp and not having a chiller)
current ppm is 855ppm (which I've read is high by some people and some say spot on)
tap/city water - which is pretty hard comes out at around 300ish.
plants are clones and were put into their homes on march 6th

Clones
3x Candyland
3x Peyote Cookies
1x GG#4
1x Cookie Glue

Running different strains out of the same reservoir is going to give you fits. Everybody may not feed the same... Just sayin. Your pH is low and ppm too high in my book.

My ph is low? Isn’t in hydro the best considered 5.5 - 5.8 “perfect”? I am looking into ro though. Just trying to find one that doesn’t waste so much water is all.

You ask about wind burn and you dont say anything about how many fans your using or wind speed if outside. But as I said in your other thread that's very unlikely. My rooms I love high wind and I've had 6 wall fans on full speed pointed at the tops blowing across and that's not how they look so....

Ops sorry about that two fans one blowing on the top the other on the ground. Both are low setting.

My rooms have like so many fans, it's almost like a hurricane in there, and they love it (no heat/humidity issues)
That was always me in the past as well. Currently I've toned down a lot but still a nice breeze. OP the primary symptom of "TOO MUCH WIND" is small marble buds covered in frost. You lose out on overall yield but what you get is fan-tactic pardon the pun. They really do fine in moderate to high wind. I've grown in outdoor situations that easily blow plants over if not supported. No issues.

I had hard tap too. I added the acid first trying to neutralize bicarbonates that would bind with the nutes.

I'd increase your RH to 50%+, add in Epsom at 1tbls/gal starting out (perhaps bump to 2tbls/gal after), and reduce total ppm to less than 700ppm. It looks like it could possibly be S, Mg, and/or Fe to me. Epsom will take care of the Mg & S (possibly) but I'm guessing your tap is locking out your Fe and S, Mg uptake. Perhaps a dilution of your tap would help with excess Ca or carbonates locking up your nutes. I'm not an expert, and just trying to help, I'm not certain what's going on this is just my interpretation.

Guy,
Just so you know...I don't believe you can get toxic salt build-up in RDWC so cross that off the list. Mg deficiency I'd go along with.

And ph is OK but let it drift. When you correct down to 5.5ph...allow it to drift upward to maybe 6.2 before correcting again. That exposes roots to a wider range of ph which facilitates absorption. Easier for the grower too.

Read what the guy said, and that was he only feed it once.
That is what is going on, lack of food and minerals.
Calmag and a ppm of 1000, problem solved :)

Thanks man! I’ll see what’s going on once I get home, unfortunately I’m at work so I can’t give a up to date yet on how they look.

I haven’t changed my ph in probably 5 days or so. It stayed at 5.5 the slowly moved to 5.6 I haven’t looked today so it could still be at 5.6 maybe borderline 5.7 but so far it’s been pretty steady. I was gonna let it run like you said until it gets to 6.2. Great info thanks!

Holy Shit!!!
Someone who understands the importance of drift in hydro.
All minerals are absorbed at different PH levels, so a fluctuation is important for complete uptake
Here is just one link, but they're a lot of them out there

Good advice@JohnDee :)
