Strain- blue dream
Dwc
Nutes- general hydroponics 3-part
Cal/mag plus 5ml/gl
Room temp- low 70's
Water temp 65.1 f
Rh- 50%
Ppm- 500- 1000 ( 3 seperate buckets)
Ph bucket 1 5.5
bucket 2 5.7
bucket 3 5.7
New growth seems light in color. And also wilting/dying off reasonable fast.
Any ideas? Deficiencies?

I cut clones of a blue dream off the mother of the ones above and they have nice root growth but I noticed a few holes forming in some leaves?

Holes in the leaf are usually pest problems. I would guess mites. The other thing is I sometimes get burning like yours from cfls. Hope this helps.
Good luck grower.

The holes I have looked over with my microscope and haven't seen and mites or bugs. (Holes) light is a t-5 and is kinda close about 5-6". And the wilting/dying leaves have 5-t8's over them about 14-16" above.

I thought the same exact thing until I read his lights were pretty far away. It looks exactly like what happens when a plant grows into my T5s while I'm away or busy with work for a few days and can't make it into the grow room.

I can't see the holes in your pics, so it's hard to say about those. Just keep checking multiple spots/leaves with your microscope. 30x + you should see almost any common mj pest. Spider mites are fairly big, you can see them without a scope(if you know what they are/look like). Take a peice of white paper and shake a few leaves over it-if there are any, you should see them. If you identify a pest, treat accordingly.

Pull them out and get a good picture of the roots for us. New growth that is light in color/wilting/dying sounds like a root issue to me. My experience with DWC is limited to one run I did years ago-maybe we can find a DWC pro to chime in.

Try cleaning your buckets and running plain water for a few days. That takes care of a number of problems from nute burn to lock out. That helps when you're not sure what the problem is.

Picture of roots? Sounds/looks like maybe root rot.
Roots are fairly white. Floramicro seems to stain roots with the quickness. But I use a product called UC roots by current culture and it seems to keep everything clean. I would run some hygrozyme or something like it. But each time I tried using it before I would get slime build up.

Yes r/o at 17ppm
I was having issues when I first switched to RO water, mostly with not supplementing enough cal/mag/iron. I was using botanicare cal/mag and switched to CaliMagic from GH based on a recommendation from a trusted grower. Calcum deficiency can sometimes almost look like nute or light burn-tips of leaves turning brown/crispy, and even small holes. Just google 'calcium deficiency cannabis' and check out some images. LIke I said, I couldn't see the holes in the pic, but I know lack of calcium can cause similar issues.

What ppm cal/mag are you using? I run into trouble with anything less than 150ppm(I was having issues with anything under 200ppm when I was using botanicare's cal/mag).

I know you looked in the holes but that is not where you find them. They move around and usually by the time you see the hole the mite has moved to another spot. They look like tiny specs of dirt on the underside of the leaf. The younger ones will move when you shin a bright light on them.
When I'm stuck with a hydro problem I give them plain tap water for 28 - 48 hours. It can fix a lot of strange lock out type problems.

I am using botanicare cal/mag plus. Have been thinking of switching to GH calmagic

the holes are in my clones. And I think it may have been from being to close to the light. I have searched the whole plant and haven't found any mites or insects which leads me to believe it was just the light being to close
