Wilted leaves around buds???

Hey guys,

So today I went out into the garden and noticed on one of my tops, all of the leaves are wilted and hanging down completely. When I checked on the plants yesterday there was no issue.

At the top around the biggest part of the bud, all the leaves are pointing up towards the sky, but then when you go lower on the branch all of the leaves are hanging and wilted. Also they look as if they got really skinny and curled under. I felt the leaves and they feel very soft, not crunchy or crispy.

I looked to the very bottom of the branch this happened to and it is turning a light tan color right at the base.

I also noticed a couple of leaves that had these super tiny white specs on them like little bugs or something. They weren't moving but I could wipe them off the leaves. And then a lot of leaves have little spots on them like they were chewed on or something.

Not sure what is going on here as I haven't changed anything to my routine, so your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for the help guys!

Looks like bugs to me do you have a loop to look real close?
I checked it out with a loop and it didn't look like a bug. Maybe larva? There weren't any legs or antennas coming off of it. but they are all on the tops of the leaves and never on the bottoms.

Really strange to be honest.

It is weird too because the drooping is only happing to one bud, but the spots I found were at the other side of the grow room on a completely different plant.

Definately looks and sounds like bug damage. How strong Is your loupe?

The discoloration on the stems looks like the result of fungus - probably Botrytis. Fairly late stage as it is affecting the plant tissue above the area of the problem. The white things look "insect related" but not exactly sure what type,

It's a 40x If it is bugs, is it normal that just one cola would be affected? Here are some more pictures for reference.

Also, the leaves that are wilted are soft towards the stem but crunchy towards the ends of the leaves.

Went out there again today, and didn't see any bugs or larva. I took a chunk of the stem off where it had turned white, and there didn't seem to be any issue on the inside.

Would it be best to just take this top down, or is it still salvageable?

Thanks for the help!

Hope you don't have bud catipilars. Maybe break some of that bud open
I did open it up, but did not see anything unusual in there. Also it is only happening to one of the tops out of all four plants. Is that normal? or does that show a sign of something in particular?

Thanks again for the help!

Is it possible this problem is from Fusarium Wilt? I have been doing a lot of research these last couple of days, and that seems to make the symptoms of my cola the most.

Does that sound correct?

Thanks!

are the wilting leaves on the same branch as that white stem maybe it has done enough damahe that the branch is no longer getting enough water
