Does anyone here at RIU have any experience with growing or smoking this strain? I have been eyeballing it for some time but can't decide whether to go with them or not.

I grew it a few years ago outside in a hoop row. I didn't hate it , but I didn't love it either -I wouldn't grow it from seed again - though I would consider running a proven kickass pheno.

of 10 seeds, 7 appeared female... in the ground they went, and a few weeks into flowering, three of them starting sprouting balls everywhere so they got yanked. I was actually glad to pull them to make room for the others - it was easily the fastest vegging strain I've grown.

so the four girls left were all wildly different phenos and flowered for between 10-14 weeks. the smells ranged from sour to sweet to spicy, translated to taste fairly well, and provided a strong but not overpowering head high. none of them gave me rocket ride I was looking for. give me a minute and I'll post pics

hee hee next time I grow something that takes this long to finish it will be a haze strain!

Excellent! Likes all around, especially for those gorgeous pictures. What sativa would you suggest for that "rocket ride"/Ground Control To Major Tom effect?

There're a few sativas lines that give you "rocket up" or "soaring" affects but most are Lucky phenos of lines that hold those possibilities.... You usually have to dig or find a lucky pheno in pure, or mostly pure sativa lines.

Look to Ace, Cannabiogen, Snowhigh, real seed co.

Golden tiger (Malawi Thai) and Panama Black are real brain melters...lol... Alternate dimension ganja

Golden Tiger I've heard can actually be pretty sedative - if trippy.

I read that too… but all three phenos i actually grew were not sedative…

the most thai leaning pheno was quite soaring.

Awesome. I do have a pack sitting in the fridge - I'm running Tom Hill's Haze now though, looking for a keeper. We'll see if I find one. My understanding is it can take some hunting.

Nice!! Golden Tiger was easy to grow. Good female/male ratio... very powerful after 4-5 weeks cure, and keeps getting better.

I've read that finding the "right" pheno takes a little hunting for Tom Hill's Haze...But then again what excellent hazes don't...lol

I'm running a test of Cuban Black Haze x A5 Haze for Bodhi... Hope to find so nice soapy piff pheno. Also went a little haze crazy and popped some Nevilles haze, purple columbian haze, and Bangi haze.

He's got piff? I've read the stories about how it comes out of NY etc. But then you read further and it actually comes from some Cubans in Florida. At least that's the story I get. Who knows though in this game? I do know I want to try some piff if I ever visit NY and I will visit the ghetto if I have too to find it.
