aight im not sure the strain or anything since i grew this shit from a regular ol bag a weed.....the other plants have done well ive had several harvest with clones and all, and so far the buds have all pretty much been the same except for this one....it seems to be more of a sativa than the other ones.....the buds dont look bad, there nice and long, but there's just kind of alot of space in the buds...the calyxes seem to be normal size but they just grew kinda stringier instead of nice and dense like the others....can i expect these buds to fill in and thicken or is it maybe just a strain that maybe doesnt grow dense....any comments would be appreciated, like i said the buds are nice and long, but its just kinda stringy rather than dense.... heres some pics of the one im talkin about and one of the other plants for comparison....

My question is did you flush these plants before flowering? Something like this happened to me and it was a surplus of nitrogen

its the whole thing....the top seems to be thickening a lil, but still wild lookin....ive never seen em do nothin like this either.....its been in about 8 or 9 weeks, and the hairs are starting to turn red and all, but i just didn't want to harvest it for fear another week might fill it in or something....

i had some light leaks at the beginning that i ended up fixing with mylar all on the inside, so maybe thats what threw it into the crazy house....well if it aint gettin any thicker im harvestin and hopefully the high will be as crazy as the plant it came from!! thanx for all the input everyone

i dont know about the nitrogen....it was actually a clone off of a mother plant, and it was in veg for maybe 2 weeks and had one dose of Alaska 5-1-1 and once i put it in flowering used Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10 and watered with molasses in between....i also added worm castings to the soil after one month of flowering.....i think it may have been a light problem in the beginning....

yeah, too much nitrogen would cause what we all are familiar with...burnt tips, other nutrients locked out, and leaf loss. I suspect heat can also help the stretchiness...are your trichs ready to your liking???

thats defiantly a reverted plant...those 1 petal leaves along with the ill-formed curling and all out weird growth is a sure fire sign of some type of reverting back to veg...meaning they were flowering then somewhere (for like a couple of weeks) there was some type of light "modification"...she went crazy for a while...not sure what light cycle she's on now but if you leave her in a vegatative light state she'll bounce back and start veggin...wait a lil while like 2 or 3 weeks after you start gettin the "5 petal" leaves to start budding again

hope that helps

ya it was a clone off of a plant that was in budding for about two weeks....after taking the clone i left it in 24 hours dark then placed into veg room where the schedule is straight 24 hours....my bud room is on a 12/12 cycle...i think it may have to do with the light in the veg room cause i was short on lights in there at the time, so it may have not gotten adequate enough light and just turned retarded on me...plus i may have thrown it into budding a lil to soon...oh well live and learn i reckon...thanx for the help

You can just cut the buds off and leave as many leaves as you can on the plant and leave it under 24 hour light and it'll bounce back...that way you get to sample the "real" bud once it's reverted back to veg, grew out a lil more, then thrown back into flowering...I've ran across that and the second "real" harvest was very impressive!

I had one that had a lot of light stress and it ended up about 9 feet tall and I flowered it and it never really flowered, it let of calaxis all over the plant but never formed a bud one, I still have it, just waiting to see, if it ever does decide to flower it will be huge
