Will this light work?

Bk is correct, that light isn't great. Or even particularly good.

Spend some time in the greatest deals thread over in the grow room design and setup forum. Marq and them post screaming deals. Just posted a 240 watt light for $60 or $70.

This is on sale and will work fine for a small space. I have one very similar to this been using it for 3-4 yrs now for veg and clones and works great. But you get what you pay for it may not last or you may get lucky and it last a long time but there is plenty of decent small quantum boards on Amazon cheap that will work in small spaces

Tbh, youd be better off buying a photography splitter and throw a few household globes In it and saving up for a better light in the future.

At 18" this is putting out around 600umol/s and has a mixed 2700k,4000k and 6500k spectrum.

35000 X 0.017 = 595umol/s (equation only works with average white spectrum). Over 18 hours gives a DLI of 40 and has a surprising spread considering.

I picked up the 3x4000k and 3x2700k globes for $15 from a bric-a-brac store and picked up the 7 way splitter for $8 from a local photographer. Had an 11w bulb here already so $23 for the whole setup.

At 12" it's putting out close to 900umol/s. Whats surprising is that it's a total of 96w but puts out 13% less light than my 150w QB at full pelt with 288 lm281b diodes, while keeping the tent cooler.

Never used it in flower but I veg a bunch of plants under it and it does really good. Being it’s 3500k it should be able to flower a smaller to medium plant with no problem.
I use same spectrum for my flower room just bigger boards and more wattage but I also flower several at a time.
