So I have these 2 small plants that are planted outside. They actually just popped up there so I decided to feed them and see what would happen. One was a male and so was pulled a few weeks ago leaving me with the 2.

My question though is whether or not they will fully finish flowering with the days getting longer (currently 13.6 hours now)? Will the plants drop the buds and start vegging? Do they die?..... What happens?:-?

One is much further along than the other. There is another wild plant in the garden on the other side of my yard, more in the shade, it is about 3x the size but has never flowered and I'm afraid is in veg.
What should I do?

If they have been budding for less than say 2 weeks they will revert back to veg, then they will grow untill the days get short and start to bud again. Use a high nitrogen fert to help them revert. Hope this helps, good luck!

Myself and a few buddies put our outdoor grows outside a little early. Half of our plants are flowering and show no signs of slowing down. I cloned them in order to get new ones started so they can veg for the summer and flower in the late summer/fall.

Mine are farther along in flowering then the photos I see of yours. I don't see mine going back to veg.

The smaller one has only been in flower for a short time, maybe two weeks. The other however has been in flower for well over a month.... I think. I really havent payed much attention to them at all. They get the left over nutes from my hydro setup about once a week, other than that they get watered by my backyard irrigation system.
So will the larger of the two finish since it has been budding for awhile?

they won't drop the buds and unless it's an autoflowering strain they'll reveg.
You could pot them up and bring them indoors every day after thy got 12 hours of light and stick 'em in a light tight closet to finish the flowering.

So I have been letting one plant grow for the last couple of months and now there is a strange thing happening with the the plant.
It is growing taller but every leaf that grows off of the stems has only 1 leaf/"finger". Has anyone ever seen this before?

So as a conclusion to this thread and my question I let the plant grow until about aug. when it started to die and I cleaned it up. Very few small seeds in it. about 5 I'm guessing from going hermie since there wasnt any males around. But it did revert to veg, got taller, and budded again come fall before starting to die off. Not the greatest stuff but it does the trick and tastes alright.
