i put 4 seeds in some potting soil, not exactly the correct mix but when i get back im goin up to home depot and getting stuff for this mix

Potting soil 60%
perlite 15%
Building Sand 10%
Worm Castings 10%
Pre-mix 12%N 6%P 6%K 5%


well anyway back to my question, will they be okay for a day or two (driving down to the shore) if i water them tonight, or early tomarrow morning?

yeah they'll be fine....a day or two is ok.

Hope you didnt plant them all in the same pot.....if you did....get them their own individual pots when you get back in town.

That mix may be a bit strong for seedlings...not sure. But adding ferts now could come back to bite you.

Don't add the premix to the soil for some time, it can stop the growth of the seeds entirely. Good job on your research, thats pretty much the same mix I use and it works great but transplant the seedlings to the soil with premix after a couple of weeks. If they look like they need fertilizer before that (unlikely), transplant them then but in general seeds and fertilizer do not mix. I sometimes add Liquid-Karma to my seed soak, now that does a good job of giving them a healthy start.

nah i put them in like some red plastic cups
