I had a mars hydro tsw2000 and one of the power supplies dim switch broke so one side of the light is stuck on the lowest setting, which kind of makes the light only 150w. Will they be cool vegging for now under my Viparspectra va1000 blurple led ? Actual wattage is 230. Is it possible to finish off the grow with this led ? Or should I try to get the tsw2000 fixed or even buy another light before flowering ? Thanks for any help.

Hell, my first couple of grows were under a no-name 250 watt blurple COB fixture in a 40" x 40" tent. If money is an issue, 2 plants should do well enough under your Vipar. Don't expect to pound-out your tent, but train up a decent canopy and 230 watts will work in a pinch. Sometimes ideal just isn't realistic. At the very least, it should be plenty good to get you though veg and give you some time to get something better before flipping them.

Why not try to sort out the original light? If its an external dimmer, connected to the power supply by wires, you should be able to replace the dimmer and presto. Even just cutting the dim wire circuit should get it back up to max.
If internal dimming (hole-screwdriver type)it may be tricky to fix, but another screw driver or, if there is an option for external it may override internal dim.

@MarsHydrofactory is here on the board, why not ask them for help?

A dimmer is such a small item dont let it ruin your light.
