This Newhouse Lighting T5 Bulb is the perfect substitute for an old halogen T5 bulb. This LED bulb has a low-heat feature what will keep it cool during long working hours, unlike halogens which tend to get extremely hot. This smart alternative to halogen bulbs uses up to 90% less energy than Halogen bulbs- and uses only 3-Watt of power to emit the same amount of light. This unique bulb is suitable for damp locations, so you won’t have to worry about weathering or humidity damaging your bulb. Compliant with FCC Standards, this bulb has no electromagnetic interference. It is also compliant with RoHS to ensure that it is Mercury and Lead Free. Mercury-free and other pollutant-free properties make this bulb a safer, more environmentally friendly choice. This soft white, compact GP LED bulb is ideal for any space: vehicles, desks, under cabinets, store displays, hotels, bedrooms, playrooms, dining rooms, hotels, classrooms, porches, garages, hallways, kitchens and more.

Upgrade from halogen bulbs to Newhouse Lighting LED bulbs: supreme quality, higher performance, ultra-efficient
Features T5 base, 12 -Volt
Low heat, cool and soft white light: 3,000 kelvin
280 lumens, instant on to full brightness
35,000 average hour life, 3 to 4 times longer than halogen lamps.....

I don't understand why people just don't buy a simple 250w HPS. They're cheap, and they work. A hell of a lot better than flouros

Great thanks won't buy thouse lol so would a vegging bulb or a flowering bulb be better for autos?
I used a HPS because used in veg on photos it causes unwanted stretch. However that was on a Dinafem White Widow Auto and it did stretch! Be sure you have the room for it all. Don't top autos and stressing them is not advisable in my book. These things really are on a timer.
