If its temporary I don't have a problem with it. The government has a responsibility to protect it's citizens from it's own police.

Agreed. They will only be assisting the SPD through the changes, not entirely taking over. It is about fucking time, seems like far too often you read about it in national news

This won't work, it is well proven that the Federal government fails at everything it does (nearly so). Things won't get better, they will just be swept under a larger rug.
