Will Sponges Work For Cloning?

Will a sponge work for a cloning medium as a substitute for rockwool or something like that?

i dont unerstand your thought cuz rockwool and petpot are cheaper then sponges. im sure yes they will work

i've seen a grow in i think it was high times awhile ago where they used a sponge to grow on, and it looked like it worked decent enough..

Yes, sponges work just fine, as the sponge helps hold in moisture. (to a degree) the Master Kush clones I purchased were cloned in sponges. And once you put them in soil, you can keep the sponge moist for 10 days or so to ensure the plant takes to her new medium.
