yesterday I done some lst to her and didnt notice that main steem snap in half...so today I open my tent and almost cry when I saw what happen...
So today that split was a little dry on both side and I done this to fix it...really struggling to get to that spot so I didnt have space to first tape then zip tie it so I only zip tie ...
23 day on flowering :( defoliation was on day 20 so worry about stress, steem rot and potencial hermie too :( but my main problem will she survive...I cant belive I wait it for 55 day from seed today to do this to her :wall::wall:
She is only medicine that I got and really want to save her so please give me advice can I do something mote and is it ok like this or that spot must be taped so no light and wind penetrate the wound
Only positive thing is that plant fan leaves are still praying today like nothing happen
The split was big and now is like this....it is not completly together but very close...

And you didnt zip tie or tape she recover just like that on its own?

The first week of flower it happened...I did use plant ties but removed them as the plant grew out of it. You should see signs of recovery almost immediately (after one day). Just check it for other issues that may arise...like mold or rot, keep your humidity below 60 to be safe. If she looks better tomorrow, she'll look better the day after that. If you're going to have issues, you will see it over the next couple of days but you look right...it was a clean break.
 
3 day are past and crack is the same...I think plant proggres but just worry will she heal that spot for weight that comes
 
I was supposed to have quit this place but if this is your only medicine than I hope this gives you a little more hope. This was the plant that was next to the first one. I didn't even notice this till recently. It split as well. I don't know how long ago it happened but looks like it's otw to a full recovery. However, the scar itself looked totally different to the first.

I would also start feeding you plant a mild solution of kelp and humic acid in a 5:2 ratio (0.8ml/L : 0.2/L). Both stimulants can assist with plant stress but in that ratio they work 50% better than either stimulant alone.

It won't show it's affects until downstream. So if your plant happens to receive some kind of other stress between now and it's full recovery, it will be able to respond immediately.

In the meantime. Reduce the variance of the environment down as much as possible...Try and keep the day and night temp/humidity close for now. The more consistent you keep the environment the better it will be for the plants recovery.

Increasing calcium uptake will also improve your plants recovery but that's more for advanced growers.
 
The defoliation probably caused more stress to the plant than that break in the stem.

The plant on the right has black electrical tape holding the stalk together after I found it one morning split in half with big branch laying on the ground. This was around week 5. Taped it up. Plant didn't care. They're in the garage because I had to start bringing them in at night. We had a really crappy end of season last year. Bud rot city. Other than the yellowing leaves from neglect the plant grew as if nothing happened. Anyway, your plant will be fine.

Way too complicated. All they need to do is tape it up. I wouldn't use a zip tie.

Yah I'd probably listen to this guys advice for now...your plant will recover. Look into what he meant about why the defol would have caused the most stress to your plant compared to the breakage and further down the track you can look into the things I talked about...anyways good luck with your grow Pol.

I guess complicated was the wrong word. Anyway, what you said couldn't hurt anything and probably would help some. I'm just lazy. I grabbed a roll of tape, wrapped it up, and walked away. It's really hard to not pamper your plants but I've been doing this for so long I'm tired of pampering. I raise them until their old enough and then kick them out of the house. :bigjoint: I give them light, water, and food. when they need it. Besides that I just let them grow. I do use humic acid in my soil grows. There are proven benefits from it's use. It's not snake oil at all. And I'm the first person to say you don't need this or that. But the humic is one of the few things I think is worth buying to have on hand.

Tbh I did try and keep it simple for Pol at first...Which in general, I believe is the best practice as well...Also, if she tried what I suggested and over dosed the plants or something it would have been my fault so it was a good reminder not to over complicate an issue that as far as I'm aware, has never killed a plant...that I know of anyways.
