will putting plants outside force flowering?

hey RIU. i was just wondering if its possible to force a marijuana plant into flowering, if placed outside after being inside under lights. thanks, im just curious.

Yes, as long as it is the correct season for flowering.

Assuming your plant is 'mature', and you have close to 12-14 hrs/ day of light, yes.

I just mention this in another thread bud you can always rig something sturdy up and cover with thick black tarp to force her... gotta be n ya shit tho

Putting plants outside does not force flower. They need 12 hours of dark. I think this time of year, days are too long for flowering. If you put it outside it will keep vegging until fall when the days get shorter.

Flower is based on light cycle (12 hours of light, 12 hours of darkness). Plants grow all summer long outdoors without going into flower....
