Will neem burn pistils?

Just gave my ladies a folia spray of neem oil watered down of course and I am noticing some browning pistils. I have no males. Also will wind burn cause this? I've checked for male pods and can't find any, even cracked a branch digging into them so hard. Please someone tell me that neem will burn pistils and ease my mind. Plants have been in 12/12 since 7/7.

Nice looking plants. I don't see anything wrong. I mix neem oil at an ounce to 1 gallon of water and a drop or 2 of dish washing soap, been doing this for years and never had a problem.

makes me feel a little better, had a hermie last grow dont want to lose any of these girls. I just had to abandon my outside so all bets are on these. Thanks for the compliment on the plant.

I know this is a little late but what was the verdict? Was it the neem? A hermi? Did it reflower where it turned orange/red?

Neem burned them, no hermie

Can't remember for certain. But the crop came out ok. I would avoid spraying neem on flowering plants if possible though, if for taste alone.

Never spray flowering plants with anything oil based....EVER. Depending on how far along you are in flowering, this will either cause the buds to stop growing and/or will delay the flowering process until the buds recover. Expect lower yields for sure and possibly a delay in finishing. So, yes, it clogs the plant breathing apparatus (stomata's I believe) and will shrival up the buds.

Also, neem is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY over rated........i believe most bugs are used to it now and it won't do much for mites either. It's more effective on flying and jumping insects like gnats and thrips. In flowering, stick to Mighty Wash or Nuke Em, which can be used often throughout flowering with no ill effects.

just wanted to add...watch the temps when u spray. oil will burn in hot and humid conditions. spray when its cooler. i sprayed hort oil for years and was always mindful of the heat and humidity.

yeah that's what happened to mine in that picture, I remember now.

Thank you.. I bought neem pre mixed and it did the same thing. They are recovering now. But it was week three and I was worried there was a Hermie. Anyone who reads this make sure if you use neem only hit the leaves!

neem oil will fuck up your ladies if sprayed during flowering. only spray during veg as a preventive measure.
