K, I have been thinking of making a grow-room for a while now. Here is what i have planned for the room.

This grow room is going to be designed for 1 plant at first, because this is my first grow I will only grow 1 plant.

I just need you guys to confirm that the stuff I am going to buy is the right stuff and not a waste of money.

thank you for any information you can give me.

so...

Only (1) Compact Fluorescent 125W,Full daylight 6400K spectrum incandescent grow bulb, Day Grow Light System w/ Dew Guard

Will Only 1 of these lights be good for 1 plant, if so will could 1 these lights grow 2 good plants. and my qestion mark don`t work.

Black Bucket Deep Water Hydroponic System

Intermatic TN800CH - Dual Outlet Appliance Timer - 2 On/Off Operations per Day

Checker pH Tester with Replaceable Electrode

Rockwool Starter Cubes 1.5"x1.5"x1.5" in size

Jacks All Purpose 20-20-20

Jacks Blossom Booster 4# 10-30-20

I cant say I know much about hydroponics but that CFL is not enough unless it is a real 125W and not an equivalent. But even if it is a real 125w I would say add one more minimum in the 2700K range. I would say for flowering have at least 2 100w in 2700K and you can keep the 125w 6400K shining for its extra lumens. For vegging cycle the single 125w should be perfectly fine. (again make sure its real watts and not equivalent). Post up some pics so we can see the setup!

Well lets just say the most advance growers can pull about a gram for every watt. So it really just depends on what type of results you are looking for. If you are investing the time and money into running a hydro system i would invest the money into an HID lighting set up. They say a 1000watt HPS lamp will cover a 5x5 area really well but it can cover an area up to 8x8 but dont expect the plants on the outer edges to produce nice heavy canopies. If you are only planning on growing one plant I would at least get a 250watt hps lamp but I recommend a 600 watt hps lamp for faster growth and denser buds. You could grow a good sized single plant with a 600 watt hps. You have everything you need to get going but the fluorescent 125 watt bulb can definitely be upgraded to an hps hid light to produce a huge noticeable difference. i also noticed you didnt mention anything about any fans? If you are not running co2 you will need to have a intake inline fan and an exhaust inline fan. The intake fan should be placed low sucking fresh air from outside to blow into the room and then an exhaust placed high inside the grow room (since heat rises) sucking all "stale" air out of the grow room and exhausting it outside. This will keep heat and humidity down and also supplement the room with co2. On average air has a co2 quantity of 300-400ppm. To keep these levels of co2 inside the grow room you should do a complete exchange of air every five minutes. Some people constantly cycle their room with fresh air if they do not run co2 tanks. When the levels of co2 are to low the plant will virtually stop growing until co2 levels raise once again. Feel free to ask me any questions.
