If you want your buds to be a little more dense, I'd recommend investing in some PK 13/14. Basically it's just extra phosphorus and potassium, you add this around week 5. If you haven't done so already. I suggest you do.

Obviously there is many many other factors, so read through this - http://www.growweedeasy.com/dense-buds

All it comes down to is Light, Airflow, Nutrients, Temperature, Roots. 5 basic recipes for either success or disaster.

Good luck!

There getting fox farm nutes and about to buy some molasses
I'm sooo taken aback by this constant fascination with molasses!
Molasses basically feeds the living myco's in the soil and that's about it...
Look folks. Molasses does so little for a soil grow that it's not worth using!
Molasses should never be used with any style hydro grow...

Molasses IS for making bio teas,,or any growing tea for that matter!

"But what then DO I use?" You may ask...

A quality KELP extract like AGE OLD or MAXICROP Seaweed!
Kelp actually DOES things for the plant!

Dense buds my ass... More light strength, watch temps and/or run more fresh air into the grow!

With what your already using......Don't! What you use is not formulated to work with high P&K "bloom boosters"! For the most part the best you will do with those is to P tox your plant and turn it yellow too fast - reduce yields!

The use of any "bloom booster" would come at week 6 or 7 and ONLY use it once......Still, they don't do what most of the hype says (unless you run Canna or Hesi! Their formulations ARE designed to work WITH their proprietary feed charts)..

Lies.

It's a good source iron calcium and raw sugar.

Molasses, raw honey, and brown sugar cane, then mix that with a kelp, guano, earthworm casting mixture.

This is my water. I use it every single watering. It will in fact enhance your plant's terpene profile and significantly boost terpenoid production.

You've written exactly what I've stated. And you're calling me a lier???! pfft, get off your high horse buddy you ain't no einstein

and lol @ using p/k and reducing yield.

at the end of the day, what works for others might not work for somebody. It's up to them to decide, not for you to make rash decisions for them. But extra p/k CAN dramatically increase the density of buds if your plant is a heavy feeder

WRONG! The levels of any chem in Molasses LACKS the concentrations to do ANYTHING with terp's or trich's!
You NEED much higher levels of K sulfate or Mg sulfate to do anything with terp's or trich's!!

Your plant "use" chemistry is faulty.......

BTW, your "mix" is nothing more then a carbo overload! I would NEVER use a mix that high in sugars! Your really risking fermentation as the bacteria and fungus - the REAL good things IN the soil, will not use it as fast as it should be to reduce the carbs.. Whats actually DOING things for your plants is the Kelp, poop and EWC!

KELP is a FAR better source of Iron and Calcium!!!! Not to mention B vits, Hormones and even Fulvic acids..
The use of Kelp extract or Kelp meals mixed in soils has been PROVEN to increase root mas by as much as 175% (College research paper - google it for your self)

Did I USE the word "lier" NO! Did I call you a "name" at all? NO!

I say that 98% of people throwing on high P&K bloom "boosters" poison their plant!
The early yellowing of plants IS the #1 problem around here!
And it's caused by young uninformed know it all's like YOU!

The use of P&K boostes is NOT needed - EVER to produce huge quality yields OR dense buds!

I of course I'm not Einstien ! He was a Pyhsicist ! He came up with relativity. I've only grown for 43 years.....

It's a figure of speech.

Alright bud, you do you. I'll do me. Post the end results of your plants and lets compare. I will admit, this is my first grow. I may sound cocky, I've read constantly since I've began growing. I should add I'm using COCO. So in this guy's position, extra p/k MIGHT not be a good idea. I was simply suggesting it.

Extra P/K drives the flowering production, its all I'm gunna say. You can't fault me on that.

Ever use humboldt honey? That's basically what my mixture is.

http://www.greenlifegardensupply.com/honey-organic-es-1-gal/

Just as the human body hosts beneficial bacteria in the digestive system, plants must host microbial life in their root zone to ensure proper digestion, growth and health. Plants feed mycorrhizal and bacterial organisms near their root zone with carbohydrates. This is the symbiotic relationship between plants and micro organisms.

When a plant goes into a fruiting cycle they immediately divert sugars and carbohydrates from their root zone to their fruiting bodies.

As the plant naturally channels carbohydrates to new flowers, buds, and fruits, the microbial life in the root zone suffers and starves.

This is why I use a heavy carb and sugar feed in flower. It continually feeds the microbes.

Microbes FEED your plants. Sugar and carbs FEED your microbes!

It's the balance of life, you should learn it.

Was thinking to use molasses then my mind was changed to kelp and with all the contraversy I now have no idea lol this is my first grow and really dont wanna fuck up! Maybe I should just stick with my fox farm and try something different next time around so I can notice differences 1st hand
