Will mid 80 degress during flowering hurt the buds?

Thanks for clearing that up. So lets sum it it up with another question shall we? So often co2 levels are higher indoors and the experts say you can work with higher temps in higher Co2. So why then can plants flourish in 100+ temps out doors but if we grow indoors it needs to be below 85?

these plants can adapt to pretty much any range as long as it's consistant. if one day its 72 and the next its 92, well it doesn't take a genius to work out that she's gonna stress.

my grow tent is 78-85 and my plants are extremely happy. we had a hot summer and when they were vegging it was in the 90's they were very spongey and growth was node on node.

it is also true that different strains like different temps, thai haze likes hotter, northern lights likes cooler.

My 2x4 tent runs 80+ at root level (soil) and over 90 at the canopy and I yeild 13 or so ounces of fire from a 2x3 screen and like I said it is over 100 almost all summer in Cali so why do the temp nazis argue the temp point so vehemently?

Like everyone said, you're good up until 90....You really don't want to hit 80 unless you're running CO2, in which case you're at an optimum temp but it's not gonna fuck your shit up if you're not. What you really want to be concerned about is the temp difference when you're lights go off. If it's more than 10-13 degrees, you might run into PM issues....So if you're fluctuating between 80 and 85 during lights on and all of a sudden your temps drops into the 60's, then your humidity is gonna spike and in a matter of a week or 2, you'll start seeing PM
my temps go down to 68f and 82f lights on. so why ant i haven any heat prob's?? an im not running C02, have had temps like this for many years,

for me 75-85f are good temps, with 80f spot on.

My room hit the mid to upper 80's for 3 days a few weeks ago. In just those 3 days half of my plants were showing signs of severe heat stress.

I didn't say you would have heat problems. I said you would start seeing PM (Powder Mildew)...PM hits when the temp change difference is over 12-15 degrees because the humidity spikes and settles on your leaves. When the humidity is high, the leaves can't breath and that's why you get PM. If you have a dehumidifier, then you'll be fine and the only change you'll see is a slower growth

i can see what you are saying, and i no people that have had big prob's with Powder Mildew, but i dont seem to get any prob's with it?
And i have a fast tern around so i dont think im getting slower growth.
