Will it hurt if i take some cuttings then flower the mother?

I only have 2 plants and they are both beautiful and strong. I want to take a few cuttings before i start flowering them. How long should i wait before i start flowering the 2 plants after the cuttings have been taken away from them. I am not going to butcher the plants with 6 cuttings a piece. Only attempting to make a continued stock for my next batch.

How long should i wait before flowering mothers?

Take them from the bottom. It will not hurt the plant. If your worried about shock, wait a week before flowering them, but some people cut all the bottom branches off 2 weeks into flowering, so I'm sure you'll be ok.
