Will is taste like a turd

Hey all. I am sorry for the title. I use no odour control but my plants have been stinking for a while. I get home and i can smell them before i open the front door. If i use some of those sprays or plug in things that emit nice aromas will this make my buds taste like that?

well im guessing your house smells like fresh bud. you have to get a carbon filter and set up an exhaust to pump it through the filter. and no you cant put glade scented oil next to the plant to make it taste that way. if you want to enhance the taste of the buds the only thing you can really do is take a 2 liter bottle and put 2 tablespoons of molasses or maple syrup in the bottle with water and water your plants with that. the sugars help stimulate root growth by feeding the microorganisms in the dirt with the water and it causes the plant to beef up. most people says it makes the bud taste sweeter too, and i agree i do it every grow. it will also make your buds swell up. the first time i did it 75% of my buds doubled in size over 3 days its pretty cool.

That is some sweet action. My question was actually more to do with the taste of the buds. I dont want to enhance the bud just want to check on its ability to absorb outside smells. Does using artificial air freshners alter way the buds tasted? I cant be F'd dealing with carbon filters etc as its just not worth it for me. I am sure i need it but from what i have read its just not going to be effective.

is molasis only for aroma or does it add to yield ?

molasses add's to the overall yield..makes your buds heaver

yeah but molasses is also said to add a sweetness to it. i had a friend who claimed he grew this bud called pine. its a familiar term from the 1990s but he would take tree sap off a pine and put it at the base of your plant and it gets absorbed. remember air fresheners couldnt be good for plants cuz if you want your plant to absorb air freshener you would have to spray it on the plant and you dont want to spray chemicals on your plant. but im sure if you want one in the room with your plants you probably could just keep it from spraying on the plants. good luck
