90% of those people are good decent folks looking for a better life, just like the ancestors of every fucking non-indigenous person on this land mass...
the ten percent that are questionable? think you could keep them out anyway? what kind of fucking border do you want? land mined? sharks with lasers on their heads in moats all along the border?guys in towers every 100 feet with high powered rifles?
there is a FUCKING LABOR SHORTAGE...and guess who is trying to make it worse? so prices for produce go up? so small farmers make less money and fail? if you keep those people out, who the fuck is going to sell you slurpies? who is going to fry the fries? who is going to tar roofs? hoe beets? pick every fucking thing that needs picked? you? :lol:

I would love to see one of these people that cry "wide open borders" trade places with an asylum seeker from Venezuela and then try to get in and stay in with their life on the line just as it is for the asylum seeker.

Reminder, POTUS struck a deal with Mexico whereby Mexico pays $1.5 B to improve the technology for handling immigrants, a wall of technology.

"Wide open borders" where huge fentanyl shipments are caught? I think the actual problem to many of those griping is racism. They don't want those kids, the dreamers that grew up here and have never known nothing else, to be deported simply because they are Mexican.

Thank you for the time it took to find this. Just to clarify, we were talking about the border being porous and how it’s gotten worse over the last two years. This article states more are attempting to migrate, not anything saying the border has become less secure. Thanks again though. I’ll do some more research that actually deals with the subject I enquired about.

I have a friend (he’s a Trumper) so we don’t talk much anymore and he’s a “close the border” type. First thing he does when he needs day labour is head to the home-depot to hire a few Mexicans :(. I gotta say the trumpers sure do seem to change their views depending on their needs at the time. I guess morality can be quite fluid in times of need.
