The thing is that I have a new carbon filter which is mounted inside of my grow cabinet (the fan which is connected is blowing air out of the cab) & I was wondering if a fire were to ignite within the cab would I be able to smell the scent of fire smoke or would it be filtered through the carbon?

In case your wondering which carbon filter I have its the following one:

(The 650 CFM)

By the way they changed the name from "Phat filter" to "Rhino filter".

I've never heard of anyone having a fire inside their cabs, but that's not to say there haven't been people out there who've experienced it..

So I honestly don't know, You would assume not as that's the job of a carbon filter.

If your growcap/space is well ventilated and the electrics isn't dodgy..a fire is the last thing you should really be thinking about.
