i'm running a 600w light in my room 1.2mx2m and the temp is 83-85* ...

i have a second light (600w) but when its on the temp is a steady 96*..

i have air cooled lights 2 duct fans one sucking air from the hallway.. and the other pulling air through a carbon filter yhrough the lights and out to the hallway...

i have tried everything to drop the temp and can olny think that making the air thats sucked in to come from an a/c unit..

has any one done this ..

does it work..

Do it all the time. I currently use a 20k BTU window unit with a box built on the back. I vent the back of the A/C through a 8" vortex inline fan and then outside. Works wonders! My next step is to just use an actual split system.

if ur using duct booster and not a high cfm fan that could be a problem too but no as long as the ac doesnt drop the room temp to really low then it wont hurt the plants

i think your question has been answered but do u have central a/c? if you have good fans i would think that would be good enuf to pull your 70-72 degree air into your grow room

i don't have cental a/c uk doesn't warent it (shame).. i've looked on ebay and think the freestanding ones you put water and ice in should do the job there £50 if not the decent ones are £200+...

now i know it won't hurt my girls i'll be staight into experimenting...
