Will a snapped plant survive?

I was bending a tall, 7 week old plant that was growing too close to a light when it snapped about 18" from the top. I have the broken part supported at the break, which is at a 90 degree angle, and the top of the plant is curving up towards the light as it continues to grow( it looks pretty weird) So, I am not sure if it will be OK, or have I destroyed it? It still has 4 to 5 weeks to go, the cola is still developing, so I'm hoping I will just end up with a really weird looking plant. Anybody have an idea as what to expect? Thanks for your feedback. Peace

My friend that's a indoor grower does that all the time. If and when the top buds get too close to the lights he simply massages the stem until it bends over at a ninety degree angle.

support it, tape it (plant tape, pref. like a biodegradable stuff from a greenhouse/nursery) if your REAL hard up... i know my boss uses blue painters tape for his bandaids...

But yes, cannabis is DAMN resillient, seal it off to prevent infection/infestation, support it, and watch.... youll get a large hard knobbly spot where the break was, will be super strong in the end, lol.
