i intend to do 6 auto flowering plants in my 1.2mx1.2mx2m tent.. my question is will i be able to use my 600watt hps from start to finish... its supposed to be duel spectrum, and i have a digital balast its all new stuff.......

should i do a couple of weeks with a m/h bulb...or is what i got ok? any feedback on this will be greatfully accepted

duel spec is supposed to be used as a veg and bloom bulb. ive not used them but i imagine they do what they are supposed to. im in the states so the metric system fux me up but i would guess if you have the room 600w should be sufficient. goodluck

thanks guys... my thoughts we're keep it simple as im brand new... soil germinate... in a covered propergator... maybe drape some scaffold netting over my propergator earlydoors so as not to burn them to death ...soil grow all the way .... use nutes sparingly all the way and then 2nd time round experiment maybe soil mix ...or differnent nutes... on a couple ... one change at a time untill i'm quite good at it

There are basic aspects of Mother Nature that I feel are best to leave alone, like light spectrums during grow being different at flower. In Nature, spring planting light is primarily in the blue range with very little red. The opposite during flower, and about 50/50 late grow - early flower. IMHO, the closer you come to duplicating Mother Nature, the better your yield, and quality of product. All the lighting manufacturers marketing hype doesn't change that simple fact. hth
