ok im sorta a newbie but i read a decent amout of books and watched vids so im into it pretty good... heres the thing the smaller leaves are turning yellow and the whole plant is loosing its green color... that happened when i added about 1/20th the soultion to the water in the hydroponics system.... it looks like a nutrient burn but i cant tell......... also my ph with in 10 hours jumps from the 5.5 i try to keep it at to an 8! and theres no stopping it... i check and recheck my ph meter w the buffer and it reads correct all the time... please help me is my ph too low ? or do i need sumthing to adjust it.... is this a nutrient burn from the little nutrients i added? (havnt added nutrients in 2 to 3 weeeks)

You're growing in hydro without nutrients for 2-3 weeks???
That would be your problem.
The pH rebound you are seeing is probably because of the high pH of your source water, and the unstable acid that you are using to lower it. What's the pH of your water, and what are you using for pH Down?
