I have been growing under a fluorescent light for about two weeks or more now with a 24 on schedule and there is some weird frost looking stuff growing around all of my pots... Is this bad??? my plants are doing perfectly fine and are green and healthy and growing more and more every day. Does anyone know if this might be mold? If so how can I take care of this?? Sorry i don't have any pictures :(

P.S. I didn't really treat the pots when I bought them or do anything like that just but the soil and germinated seed inside. THX

It could well be mould, what is the relative humidity in your growroom? If it's over 70-80% it can cause problems with fungus and the like. If you can, go out and buy a digital thermometer/hygrometer, they're cheap and they help you keep your conditions within acceptable range. If the humidity is too high you need more air movement through the room. Do you have any fans in your setup? pics would help lots.

Most mould is either green or fluffy white.

I've got some old pots in my kitchen on the windowsill with a nice load of mould growing on it, come to think of it i should really get rid of them..

Can't think of a way of getting rid of it though.
