wich should one go for?

say you have temp, and airflow taken care of no matter wich situation wich should you go for
a normal ballast
or digital dimmable ballast?

nobody really.? wich would or should you go with with no worries about heat is the dimmable worth getting or should you just go with the regular ballast?

umm i guess its all your own preference if your temps are fine. I would go dimmable bc vegging plants will do fine on lower output (save a little electricity) and might get explosive in flower when they notice the up in power.

i give another vote for a digital.. i have a galaxy dimmable digital ballast that goes from 400 watts to 250, and simply love it.. i can run the 250 for veg and bring it up to 400 for flowering..
it's also very nice to be able to run both mh's and hps bulbs off of one ballast imo...

they even have some ballasts that you can run them at full power, ie 100%, then turn it down all the way to like 300 or so i think it is..

im runnin a galaxy 400-600, no problems, love it....peace

so pretty much if you gonna be using the same room veg/flower a dimmable would be nice but i'm pretty much gonna keep a continual grow going so since i wont really wanna change the light down cause some flowers will be in last couple weeks of flowering it be better to just use a normal ballast then maybe digital but dimmable dont matter i would think since that is what i'm gonna be doing
