WHy when I read through these forums when someone has an issue like simple Cal or mag Def, or nute burn, or Nitro Def does someone always pop on and say "I think its a PH issue." ???? WTF Ph is important to maintain yes but in order for it to really harm your plants a number of other issues are goin on as well, IE temps, grow medium, light, cleanliness (this is huge and nobody touches on it), ventilation, Oxygen. Seriously Ph is really over exaggerated when it comes to growing. LOL its a plant, keep it simple, stop overthinking everything. You aren't helping the poor chap out with his issue. I have had some seriously high PH levels and done just fine.
"Is pH Adjustment Critical? pH is not as critical as most hydroponicists believe.
The main point is to avoid extremes in pH. Plants grow on soils with a wide
range of pH. For most plant species there is an optimum pH in the region of pH 5
to pH 6."
Note that this is from http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/phfacts_guide.php
A slight off in Ph is not the cause for all Plant issues. UGH!!!!!
but i happily find it on every thread in the plant problems threads.
PS
Sorry was venting, every thread I visited tonight had a mention of PH in it, Got annoyed cuz most were very simple issues. LOL SMoking so I feel better now. LOL
