ok well i got a few babys growin few weeks in i got a few short and bushy and 1 tall lanky. does this mean a dif strain or is it just tall and lanky... its had all same light from them rest, they are bag seed got from same bag.

Most likely same strain, the tall one is probably a different phenotype, or a male.

could be another strain mix...you never know how many other male plants were grown around it...even lingering pollen from a male from a harvest before could have pollinated it..thats the crap thing about growing from seed...

as far as a defferent pheno goes its anyones guess. some may have a totally different smell and taste. it wouldnt surprise me to see the tall one be a male or take 1-3 weeks longer to mature than the others. it may be more of a sativa pheno, the high may be better or worse depending on what you like.

I know ur goin to talk about the bottom fan leaves i do this all the time to bring the base groth out.

roots could be growing slower because there all in the same pot. that is a no no. get more pots asap

i did the same thing too all of them not just them two ea plant is treated the same, second i know ther in same buckets but i had them in ther from start, i had a cup when i first planted then i moved them in ther at day 15, i got new pots for them when i start to flower.

there not root bound i have stuff to keep ea root to itself they only been in that main dirt like 2-3 weeks max. i will switch them over with in a few days.

they wont root fight i have them in dif sections so when i transplant all i have to do is cut ea side out.

Don't make the same mistake I did.

Concensus of the forum (as in this thread) is that males grow faster, taller

NOT ALWAYS TRUE !!

I have Northern Lights Special and popped 2 seeds as only have space to grow one,,,,,one was short and bushy other tall and lanky,,,,,,based on reading in the forum I flipped the bushy one first and experimented on the lanky one.

Bushy one was a boy!

killed it and flipped the lanky one and SHE was the girl
