Why would you close a thread that didn't violate rules which put cops in a bad light?

What am I talking about? there were comments about how ALL cops deserved to be beaten by people. The cops in some of those videos weren't doing anything wrong, just being attacked for no reason.

Saying the cop deserved it and that the dude didn't deserve 66 years in jail is fucked.....and I don't even like cops...I just know not every one of them is out to get me like a mental case.

Ok, yea I saw that but that is just some peoples opinions and there would have been and were counter opinions. Typical discussion.
And I do think 66 years is too long though I don't know what his previous charges were he did not kill the cop.

Yeah but 66 year probly had more to do with the fact that he escaped lol. I think the reason they make the punishment so high for attacking a cop is because of the situation they find themselves in a lot. They do in a lot of dangerous places where their targets so it only makes sense to me that they would increase the penalty for attacking one.

I didn't mean to insult you personally it was a genuine question whether you had some friends who were cops. I couldn't think of any other reason why you would close it but I guess yes now that things have been pointed out maybe a thread that stirs up cop hating rage isn't the best idea for this site.

I know a cop myself and consider him a sort of friend. He is cool he hangs out at a bar where I play pool and he's just another one of the guys and doesn't act like a jackass but that doesn't stop me from playing fuck the police on the jukebox and he knows I don't play it cause I want to kill him or stir up others to kill him.

I was most interested in the topic because it was collecting all those videos in one place and many times people claim that blacks or other groups aren't treated differently. That thread would have eventually collected a lot of evidence that certain groups are in fact very heavily descrimiinated against but oh well. Maybe if the thread were started anew with a different agenda and people were warned not to get all out of hand it would be ok?
