Johnny, I think the bigger issue is progression. The old way doesn't work. It hasn't worked. It wont work any longer. Conservatives are scared of change, because it's new, it's uncertain territory, there's a chance we might fail.. What the younger generation wants, my generation, is equality, happiness, etc. We're tired of seeing the rich get richer while the poor and middle class hold the load. By no means am I for total socialism or complete government control, I'm actually a proponent of capitalism and small, limited government. I just see where the government screws with all of us seems to be in the poor and middle class, the system is shifting towards poking and proding the upper class more and giving the lower classes more power, because there are more of us. They're rich which makes them powerful, but we're many, which makes us powerful. That is the downfall in the corruption within our system, it never accounted for the number of poor people willing to fight back.

You also mentioned an interesting little window of information - "I worked my ass off all my life and people I know who abuse the system are on par with me" - so what? Does that make you feel like a failure or something? Why do you base your success off of the success of others?

This is just one of hundreds of websites. Why is it failing? First, people consider it free, but tax rates are as high as 50%. The QUALITY of care is considerably lower than that in the U.S. RATIONING care is inevitable when you have such a high demand for care, with so few doctors. People with rare diseases, almost never receive care, because the funding for them are almost non-existent. I could go on and on, but you should really do some research for yourself. I don't gain anything for supporting health insurance companies, I just believe capitalism and the free market work, that's what our founders believe, and that is why America is so prosperous. I believe the government should have as little power and control as possible. And I don't believe they should be jamming this crap down our throats, when they themselves, the president included, admit to not reading the bill. What the hell is that. They are passing laws and regulations that they don't even know about. If this happened in the private sector, the person would be fired, and lose their license to ever do that job again. But I guess the politicians are better than us. "Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed..." Dec. of Indep.
I asked for a reputable link and the best you can do is some angelfire page full of right wing links? You may as well have linked to some 13 year old kids myspace page. Christ no wonder you're so ill informed.

Keenly I appreciate how you feel with the info that you have, but the problem is it is not right. And at best they take a small grain of truth and stratch the shit out of it until it is so distorted that it is not even close to the truth.
banks and mortgage companies - government take over

car companies - government take over

health care industry - government take over
Government did not 'take over' the banks that did not file for bankruptcy. They may have some new regulations, but that is a far cry from a take over. They still have far less restrictions than they had in the 90's.

Government did not take over the car industry. They did fire the CEO, but once GM went through their bankruptcy they went back to being a private company. Ford did not need the help like the other two that were going to have to go through bankruptcy so the government never has bothered them. And again they may have regulations but in noway is that a take over. If you wanted to see a take over, you should rent Gung-ho http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091159/.

This insurance program is not a take over of the health care system. It does nothing to the doctors care for their patients, it doesn't stop the insurance companies from continuing their business, or even coming up with their own insurance plans. It just says that they are going to have to meet guidelines like you cannot dump patients when they get sick.

i know a lot of what they dont want me to know..
judging by your posts, i know more than you do (not bragging, not putting you down, i just have no life so i do a lot of research)
did you know the climate change bill literally takes taxpayer money, gives them to companies to move them outside of the U.S.?
You are getting this from that Boehner video I think. He was in a filibuster and read an obscure line about overseas companies and loans.

They republicans made this up. They ignored the rest of that section that said it is not loans to foreign companies but was talking about the companies that move after they get the loans but before it is paid off. And Boehner said something along the lines of "So your admitting here that this is going to lose us jobs". It is just a soundbite that takes something completely out of context.

I just want to help you get the real information man. They are tricking you into a panic attack and there is no reason for it.
