Why Palin can't win in 2012

While musing about the reasons for the continued interest in such a mediocre VP candidate it occurred to me why she can't possibly win for President in 2012, she will have to win her party's nomination first. That means she will have to participate in her party's primaries, and that means public speaking and having to go off script. Palin NEVER would have made it through this year except McCain gave her a Wonka bar that had a golden ticket inside (she was not even vetted for all practical purposes, she was chosen solely for her demographic value). I look forward to seeing more Katie Couric-esque failures from Palin with her dropping out early in the 2012 primary race because she is a nitwit and it's gonna show when she gets on camera and has to answer tough questions.

You're assuming that will actually happen. You don't think Iraq can stand on its own without our help?

thats not the issue, i think assigning a get the fuck out of dodge date was a retarded idea

and if the withdrawl date is post-poned or not held up to, then obama still looks like a chump

The war in Iraq has been good because it has provided a forum where the USA could engage Muslim fanatics without the restraints that we have here in the USA. However, NOTHING can be accomplished by staying indefinitly. It may implode if we pull out next year or 10 years from now. The truth is those people are so used to being bullied by Saddam they are culturally unequipped for democratic self governance. When we leave the "elected" leader needs to get tough and if the country fails it will be their own damn fault. Either way Sarah Palin won't have any say in how the shit goes down :)

Why are you guys so obsessed with Sarah Palin?

If I were you, I'd be more concerned with Obama. Since his briefings, he's been like a deer in the headlights ... or have none of you noticed?

I predict Sarah Palin will not be a factor in 2012. She's been marginalized by negative coverage, GOTCHA journalism, and Democratic talking points. She will never be a viable candidate on a future ticket.

It's true she was not ready to be on the national ticket. Neither was B.H.O. The 2004 convention speech was his 'golden ticket.'

It's also true she was chosen to appeal to Conservatives. There's nothing new there. Veep candidates are routinely chosen as a means to shore up support with wavering constituencies within a party.

I predict she'll run for Senate in a few years, win and find a home there.

No kidding. The election is over.

I remember B.H.O. referring to Bush/McCain policies of the last eight years. I never imagined I would hear progressives grousing about Bush/Obama policies of the next four years. LOL!

With Palin its kind of a sliding scale thing for me.
Firstly intelligence is not a criteria for being President. Bush popped that bubble.

As a vice president who would you prefer, Chenney or Palin? I'd go Palin any day because even with all her flaws and slightly off religious beliefs, she doesnt eat her young like Dick obviously does.

You and ViRedd, two horndogs that can't see past their dicks. That bitch was as dumb as a box of rocks, and she likes to blabber. I'll bet you and Redd would be real dissapointed when she removed her clothes and her tits hit the floor and her stretch marks covered half her body, I'd like to see that, the look on your collective faces would be priceless. She's had 5 kids for christ sake, her hoo-hoo has to be gigantic.

I doubt FOX News told you but there were no terrorists in Iraq until we invaded, as a matter of fact Al Queda is stronger now than ever before.

The only thing this war accomplished was making Halliburton stock holders rich; Cheneys stock options went from being worth $241,498 to more than $8 million.

Bush followers remind me of abused wives; they get the shit kicked out of them and are lied to constantly yet they still love their man.

you shouldn't have to rehearse your thoughts and opinions, they should flow freely. the reason she couldn't/didn't answer was because she didn't know.....
she won't ever be a prez factor again.

he's doing exactly what he should be doing. as stated, you can only have one prez at a time.
