Why not use Ethanol as a liquidizer

That's extreme! That Russian Vodka, just guessing, is probably 80-90% rough alcohols. The residual that I am talking about is probably 1%. I am vaping a few puffs to get stoned, so equivalent alcohol consumption to drinking alcohol-free beer!

I noticed with a batch of Wax i ran, then purged xtra dry, then broke down again using everclear, then evaporated and purged again, that the wax loses its viscosity and makes it ideal for carts. It does become darker when you refine it. But ive also used a heated syringe for carts which was ideal. The concentrate doesnt need to be liquid to work i a cartridge, solid concentrate works just fine. It just doesnt load that easy. The heated syringe retained a lot more terps then refining the wax to a liquidy state, but to each their own.

How are you purging the ethanol? Maybe there is some residual? I have had an issue with the extract being too runny causing it to leak slightly but I have been able to purge the extract whilst in the cart. I do warm the syringe to around 40C before filling.
I have done a bit more research on ethanol used in medicine and it turns out it is in the inhalers commonly used for asthma sufferers, including my 10-year-old daughter.

I just did it in my regular vacuum chamber. Heated it up to 103° F (39.4°C) i would shut off the pump every 15 mins or so and then checked to make sure there was no more condensation forming in the lid. It was was between 57 and 60 grams and it took a little over 2 hours.
You should look i to Rosin Presses. Ive sold a rosin press out here in Denver to the Manager of a full Medicinal Farm (extra tax breaks) who wanted it because they had patients that needed concentrates, but some of them were occasionally having nasty side effects most likely on account of improper purging. So she bought a Rosin Press from me cuz its just heat and pressure. No solvents at all, its the fresh squeezed OJ of Marijuana. The most delightful taste ive ever had is an ice cold Dab of fresh rosin at the perfect temp. You get to REALLY taste your strain (pressed properly) Or you can do some extra work and extract the rosin all the way down to 97% pure THCa on the press itself Its just a tasteless white powder that you can ingest anyway you see fit. Sprinkle it on Potatoes, Mix it in your Apple Sauce, or your morning Coffee. Cap a bowl with it, load it in your vaporizer, rip it in your bong. It is the Swiss Army knife of our favorite plant. Rosin goes into carts really easy with a heated syringe and smokes even better.

I must admit that Rosin looks good dribbling out of the press! It must smell awesome. I've seen so many photos of dark brown burnt Rosin it puts me off. What temperature is that?
