the amount of coco coir and fertilizer i though i would mention. i add mayby a 2lb of guano which is probably like 4-5 lbs of cowshit, bonemeal sparsely i do probably a 1lb and coco coir and greens sand as much as you want. i try to keep my nute levels low so i can play with thier nutrition more. this is basically a soil less mix

It's mainly the time released ferts in MG and many other brands that give an inexperienced gardener trouble.
Simply use something without added time-release ferts and you'll be OK.

I haven't tried it, but I hear the MG Organic Choice(?) mix is pretty good.

I prefer Promix for Vegetables (in the green + white bag).
It's cheap, PH neutral, has a basic load of fert, and microbes already in it.
That along with Espoma brand fertilizer/conditioners, and you're good to go.
They can usually be purchased locally too.

i would say mg organic is good because its low in fert .and very very fine so i would think would have great drainage because of it.. and vrry little debree, i used it on my latest crop and if it werent for my feeding i thinkk my girls would of been great.. bplants still look great but yeilded low.. 1-1 1/2 oz per 1000 watt grow . so i wasnt happy but overall soil was good besides mg defic in some plants and those damn mites
