WHY MY RUNOOF WATER PH IS COMING SO HIGH.

hello friends,
even though i'm giving water to my pot(SOIL BASED) with pH 6.5 AND when i check for runoff water pH its showing around pH 7.8-8.1,
what could be the reason for this and how to solve this pH problem.

history of my cannabis,
its in 1 week of flowering,
I had nutrient burn but now its under controlled with runoff of 1300-1500ppm from 3500ppm(to much).
but i'm not able to solve this pH problem.
any help will be grateful.

Get a microbe product and use a little once a week. And checking the ph of your run off is a waste of time.

pH run off from soil is worthless. The correct way to check soil pH is with a slurry test. Why are you chasing runoff values anyway?
saw it on youtube(it said runoff should be around 6-7) dats why i was checking runoff pH. Runoff pH dont matter ?

Those ppm values are still too high. Flush some more and see how low you can get it in one sitting.

Maybe your plants don’t like the environment and the roots are causing this.

As for the pH of the run off, what all have you added to the soil? somethings can raise the pH. If you have added something that slowly breaks down and has a high pH, your soil will slowly rise in pH, and when you are flushing you are seeing that.

pH matters but runoff pH is not the correct way to test the pH of soil. Anyone can make a video and post it on youtube even if they're wrong. I think the makers of the pH testing devices know more about testing pH than some stoner dude on youtube that may or may not have finished High School.

Lets see what Hanna instruments has to say.

How to Test Soil pH
The two primary ways to test soil pH from field samples are slurry testing and direct soil testing. It is important that the soil samples and tests take place in the same spots and the same way every time.

How to Test Soil Using the Slurry Method
  1. Gather some soil from the test area.
  2. Take the homogeneous sample and add equal parts of soil and distilled or deionized (DI) water in a 1:1 ratio. So, for 25 grams of soil you would add 25 mL of water.
  3. Stir the sample for 5 seconds.
  4. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Start stirring the sample again after 15 minutes, and take your measurement.
