Why is Wisconsin not one of the states to pass the Legalization Of Marijuana?

Gerrymandering is a problem in WI. Conservatives are overrepresented in the state legislature and the War on Drugs is still a potent force for suppressing the votes of liberals and minorities as originally intended. There will continue to be politicians who prefer to win elections by picking their voters in WI rather than suffer the possibility that voters will choose their politicians.

Madison (GO BADGERS!!) is almost as bad as Berkley for crying out loud, and nowadays Milwaukee is almost there,
I remember hearing this back in the old days about Madison. It was because the U was there, i think. damn college kids and their weed.
Madison decriminalization (1977)
In April 1977, Madison voters approved a ballot measure to allow the possession of up to 112 grams (4 oz) of cannabis in a private area. For possession in public, offenders would be subject to a $109 fine unless used under the care of a doctor. The law was one of the earliest municipal decriminalization ordinances passed in the nation.[26]

I just wish they'd legalize it 100% instead of these ambiguity laws they've enacted everywhere.
They have not really lifted the burden of criminality from our cannabis. They can still get us if
they want, at both fed and state level. So what if your state says you can legally possess an oz?
Who has only ONE OUNCE of cannabis? So, the local cop, sheriff or state patrol can come in your
house and kill you if they want. "He had two oz of weed, and i thought the phone in his hand was
a gun. So we had to shoot." And that's only a single aspect of how badly they've enacted the so-called
"legalization of cannabis" at the state level.
