This is my first plant and its been wilting the whole time. Its under a 400w light. My finance said i was watering it too much. I only water once every couple days with a spray bottle now, but it just continues to get worse. whats going on?

Sounds like over watering but without a picture and all details it could be something else. People will always wanna see picture when you have a plant problem. Welcome to rollitup hope it helps you out

First of all how large is that container. Good rule of thumb in terms of watering smaller pot more frequent watering and larger pot less frequency of watering. If your eyes are not trained when the soil is about to be dry I would suggest investing in a moisture meter. Also not unless that strain naturally has evergreen leaves then if you have been feeding it nutrients you may have an advanced nutrient toxicity of nitrogen.

ok same thing happend to me ....when using the spray bottle how much water are you actually putting in because the problem with the spray bottle is that u can spray it alot and it looks real wet but in reality your only soakin the top layer and that drys up quick with your light......water with a watering can or somthing so the water is actually sinking down properly she could just be underwattered same thing happend to me and looked the same as your plant.................now dont do this if you know your already putting enough water in
